Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Global Version ZB602KL 6 inch 4G LTE Smartphone 18:9 FHD 5000mAh Snapdragon 636
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 having a large battery capacity
the weight is almost the same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 at 181 grams
If you compare it with its biggest competitor the xiaomi redmi note 5
they look quite similar but once you look closely
the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has this slightly curved bump on the sides
which makes it a bit wider but definitely the max pro is way sicker
which can be attributed to the larger battery capacity.
Also it can still be easily handled with one hand and it’s
not yet obtained to lug around then again saying so it’s curved body
it feels really solid and well to feel
that you’re still holding a smartphone.
Despite the advertised six inch display the device feels that
you’re holding a 5.5 inch phone and that’s why it’s still manageable
and not too hard to hold the buttons.
The device still uses the old microUSB port but don’t worry
quick charge feature is still supported on this phone.
The handset is a typical IPS LCD display in a full HD plus
or 2160 by 1080 pixel resolution with an aspect ratio of 18 by 9.
It’s bright has given in punchy colors and impressive viewing angles.
Camera be wise and get the pretty standard set up and do all 13 megapixel plus 5 megapixel rear
and a single 8 megapixel fun with both having
soft light LED flash the purpose of the dual camera at the back is
for the deep and creamy broken effects.
You basically just go to the camera app then click the effect mode
you will notice that before taking a photo there will be a shutter icon
that you can slide to change the level of depth or blur.
So far from our initial shots there is also quite okay
on the other hand the regular lens takes decent photos
in the right conditions.
Images have good color reproduction detail and sharpness night
and low-light shots are be humane with noticeable grain employees
with washed out colors though but still usable the front is also decent when used in brightly lit areas
Selfies are acceptable with some so details know like selfies
though are a big disappointment shots have a lot of grain in noise
and facial details end up being washed out or unnoticeable.
One thing to note here is that while asus promotes
this as a pure Android system
you will notice that the camera app is customized and
not using the stock camera app like the Mac’s m1
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes with facial recognition
to unlock the device but we’ve yet to fully test this out because
from our previous experience.
it’s not that reliable as what we mentioned earlier they ditched a Zen UI and went
with pure Android for the operating system this means we get a simpler and easier to navigate.
Powering the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with four gigabytes
of RAM this is the same chipset found in the zenfone 5 and
the xiaomi redmi note fife.
so far we can say it’s buttery smooth and turned out huge numbers
in terms of benchmark tests while multitasking is responsive and dreaming is significantly good
this phone still packs a whopping five thousand milliamp hour battery
so still expect a longer battery life compared to
the previous Mac series devices.
Alongside with that Asus added what it calls flash charging
which is basically a slower version of fast charge in order to prolong and maintain good battery life.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is to be a promising looking phone true enough
it’s already showing signs that it can live up to those promises
that’s more than enough capable processor a huge battery
and respectable set of cameras.
